Hire Dedicated Developers — Audit-Ready Engineers, AWS Advanced Partner
Hiring a dedicated developer means one named engineer works only on your roadmap, inside your sprints, your repos and your tooling, billed monthly and managed by us. It is not a freelancer marketplace and not a fixed-scope project: the engineer is yours full-time or part-time for as long as the engagement runs, and you keep the backlog. Techtweek Infotech has placed dedicated engineers this way for 16+ years across 450+ projects, and our engineers arrive with the evidence your auditors ask for.
This page covers which roles you can hire, how we contract, what it costs, how fast an engineer starts, and what happens if one is not the right fit.
Why buyers choose Techtweek over a staffing marketplace
Most vendors on this search sell speed: vetted in 48 hours, top 3% talent, 3,000 engineers on the bench. Those claims are unverifiable and every vendor makes them. We compete on something a buyer can check.
CERT-In empanelled. Techtweek Infotech is empanelled with India's national Computer Emergency Response Team — a government security empanelment, not a directory badge.
AWS Advanced Tier Partner. Our engineers are certified on the platform your estate actually runs on, and the partner tier is verifiable with AWS.
A compliance practice behind the engineers. Our group runs PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 engagements, with zero-finding outcomes on selected audits. When your auditor asks how a change was approved or who had production access, the answer already exists as evidence — because the people who built your pipeline also sit on the other side of audits.
A 24/7 NOC behind the engineer. A staffing agency sells you a person. When that person sleeps, nobody is watching your estate. Our NOC monitoring services run alongside the engagement, so continuity does not depend on one person's working hours.
Verifiable delivery record. 16+ years in production, 450+ projects, 94% job success, and a 100% job-success rating across 5,900+ hours of Upwork work that anyone can read.
Roles you can hire
| Role | Typical use | Page |
|---|---|---|
| DevOps engineer | CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS cost and reliability work | Hire a DevOps engineer |
| DevOps / cloud architect | Landing zones, multi-account AWS, migration and platform design | Ask on the call |
| DevSecOps / security engineer | Pipeline security, vulnerability management, audit evidence, SOC work | Hire an InfoSec expert |
| Full stack developer | React, Node.js, TypeScript, MERN and MEAN stack product teams | Ask on the call |
| Python engineer | Django, FastAPI, data pipelines, automation, MLOps | Ask on the call |
| PHP / Laravel developer | Laravel builds, PHP 8.x upgrades, legacy modernisation, CMS estates | Hire a PHP developer |
Engineers are placed at mid or senior level. We do not place juniors into client teams unless you ask for a junior and price it that way.
How the engagement is contracted
In the United States. A master services agreement plus a per-role statement of work. We invoice monthly in USD on a corp-to-corp basis — Techtweek Infotech is the employer of record for the engineer, so there is no co-employment exposure, no W-2 administration on your side and no payroll tax question. The SOW names the engineer, the deliverables, the working-hours overlap, the IP assignment and the notice period.
In the United Kingdom. The same MSA and SOW structure, engaged as a contracted-out service: we supply the deliverables, we supervise the engineer, and we carry the employment obligations as the supplier. UK buyers assessing off-payroll working should confirm the position with their own tax adviser — the status of any engagement depends on how it is run day to day, not only on how the contract is worded. We will provide whatever the assessment needs.
Everywhere. NDA and IP assignment signed before day one, a named escalation contact, a defined notice period, and a written exit plan including handover of credentials, documentation and runbooks.

The Engineer Passport
Every vendor says its engineers are vetted. None of them show you what that means. Every engineer we place arrives with a one-page dossier:
- Named CV with the projects and stack actually worked on
- Certifications with verification links, not logos
- Background-check status and date
- Device and endpoint posture — managed device, disk encryption, MDM enrolment
- The exact data and systems the engineer needs access to, and nothing beyond it
- Signed NDA and IP assignment, dated
You see the Passport before you interview the engineer. Ask for a redacted sample on the call.
How engineers are vetted
- Screen. CV, certifications verified at source, written and spoken English tested on a real technical conversation rather than a script.
- Technical. A live exercise drawn from our own delivery history — a broken pipeline, a misconfigured VPC, a failing deploy — not an algorithm puzzle.
- Security. Background check, device posture, data-access scope, NDA and IP assignment signed.
- Client match. You receive the Passport and CV, you interview the engineer, and the engagement starts with a two-week paid pilot.
How fast an engineer starts
- DevOps and DevSecOps engineers: about 5 working days. We hold a small bench in these roles because lead time decides these deals.
- Full stack, Python and PHP engineers: 2 to 3 weeks. These are matched and hired against your specification rather than pulled off a bench.
We publish real lead times. A vendor promising any engineer in 24 hours is either describing a marketplace listing or describing a bench you will be paying for.
What it costs
Indicative bands per engineer, billed hourly or as a monthly full-time rate:
| Role | Mid | Senior |
|---|---|---|
| DevOps / cloud architect | $45–65/hr | $55–85/hr |
| DevOps engineer | $38–52/hr | $48–65/hr |
| DevSecOps / security engineer | $40–55/hr | $50–70/hr |
| Python / data / MLOps | $30–42/hr | $40–55/hr |
| Full stack (React, Node.js) | $28–38/hr | $36–50/hr |
| PHP / Laravel | $22–32/hr | $32–45/hr |
For comparison, US staffing agencies bill DevOps engineers at roughly $85–140/hr and cloud architects at $130–190/hr, before the 2–5% fee a vendor management system adds. The saving is real, but it is not the reason to hire us — the credentials are. Ask for the full rate card and we will send it within one business day.
What happens if an engineer is not the right fit
- Two-week paid pilot with an exit clause. End it at the two-week mark and the engagement closes there, with the handover included.
- Free replacement inside 14 days. If the engineer is not right, we replace them at our cost.
- Named engineer, no substitution without your written agreement. The person you interviewed is the person who works on your roadmap.
- Four-hour overlap with your working day, written into the SOW rather than promised on a call.

How much does it cost to hire dedicated developers?
Between $22 and $85 an hour depending on role and seniority, billed monthly. A senior DevOps engineer sits in the $48–65 band; a mid-level PHP or Laravel developer sits in the $22–32 band. Full-time monthly rates are lower per hour than part-time. The full rate card goes out within one business day of asking.
How do I hire a dedicated developer?
Send the role, the stack and the start date. We return the Engineer Passport and CV for matching engineers, you interview them, and the engagement begins with a two-week paid pilot under an MSA and SOW. DevOps roles typically start within five working days; other roles take two to three weeks.
What is the difference between a dedicated developer and a freelancer?
A freelancer works across several clients and carries their own tax, insurance and liability. A dedicated developer works only on your roadmap, is employed by us, and comes with our employment obligations, insurance, background checks, replacement guarantee and out-of-hours cover behind them.
Can I hire one engineer, or does it have to be a team?
One engineer is a normal engagement. Most of our accounts start with a single DevOps or security engineer and add roles once the first placement has proven itself.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do. IP assignment is signed before day one and covers everything produced during the engagement. The exit plan includes handover of credentials, documentation and runbooks.
Where are the engineers based?
India, working your hours with at least four hours of overlap committed in the SOW. Techtweek Infotech also operates as Techtweek Infotech LLC in the United States. Data residency is handled per engagement — US client data can stay in US AWS regions and UK client data in eu-west-2.
